Dynamics 365 release information is published by product area and written for a general audience. Finance teams have to read several hundred items per release wave to find the handful that change a posting, a payment file or a reporting figure, and the reasoning behind that filtering is never written down.
Solution
Sentinel imports release information, normalises every item into a consistent record, and scores it against the finance modules in project scope. Items above a configurable threshold become action records with an owner, a required test and a target release, so the assessment is reproducible and auditable.
