Privacy policy
What data this site processes, why, and how long — kept deliberately minimal.
Data processing overview
Controller
Jeno Jegathees, Switzerland — contact: hello@jenojegathees.com. Processing follows the Swiss Data Protection Act (revFADP) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.
Server log data
When you open a page, the hosting infrastructure processes technical data such as IP address, requested URL, timestamp, referrer and browser user agent. This is required to deliver the site securely and to detect abuse (legal basis: legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is not used to build user profiles.
Analytics
Aggregated visit statistics (page views, visitor counts, referrer) are collected to understand which articles are useful. The measurement is privacy-oriented: no advertising identifiers, no cross-site tracking and no selling of data. Reports are only viewed in aggregate form.
Cookies and local storage
No advertising or tracking cookies are set. The site stores a few technical preferences in your browser only, for example the light/dark theme, the state of the navigation pane and whether the apps section is collapsed.
The in-browser tools (for example the T-Account³ Viewer) keep any data you enter locally in your browser. Nothing you paste into a tool is uploaded to a server. Clearing your browser storage removes it permanently.
Contact requests
If you write by email, your address and message content are processed to answer the request (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR) and stored as long as needed for the conversation and any legal retention duties, then deleted.
Accounts and content administration
The editorial area of this site is restricted to the site owner. Login and content data are stored on managed cloud infrastructure with access controls. Visitors do not need an account and no visitor registration is offered.
Processors and third countries
Hosting, database, email delivery and AI-assisted drafting are provided by service providers acting as processors under contract. Some of them may process data outside Switzerland/the EEA; in those cases transfers rely on standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
External content
Links may point to third-party sites (for example the Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Learn or LinkedIn). Once you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that provider applies.
Your rights
You can request information about, correction of, deletion of or restriction of the processing of your personal data, object to processing based on legitimate interest and request data portability. Send your request to hello@jenojegathees.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Switzerland: FDPIC).
Changes
This policy is adapted when the site changes technically or legally. The version published here is always the current one.
